While true, I don’t think this is relevant for the topic of your story. You are exaggerating the fact that online communications are more toxic than face-to-face or physical ones in order to prove your point, but you said yourself that the role virtual writing, or typing, has in this is very small. To me this is misleading and can leave readers with a distorted view of the problem as it relates to online communication. A lack of knowledge about the benefits of hand-writing is a different topic to the toxicity of internet mediums.
